The only solution I’ve found is to lessen up on the throttle which is a performance inefficiency and does not always extend cord life. 095 recommended Echo brand / thickness and within a few short minutes (sometimes seconds) replacement line is needed. Problem 1 - the line cord requires near immediate replacement. others on the retail display rack believing it was the best performance / value option. I bought this tool based solely on Echo’s reputation for quality. rotate (which loads the line on the reel spool) until about 7 inches show on each side 16. pull line through until it is equal on both side in length 14: rotate round head (I think counter clockwise, it will only rotate one way, it will click as it spins) 15. look for holes in side of round head and slide line through until it comes out the other side (arrows need to be aligned) 13. take new line and make one long section of about 10 to 13 feet (I raise my hand to measure to ground) 12. rotate wheel until two arrows line up (you may have to look a little) 11. replace reel, one side will fit closer than the other, choose that 9. the top and a string reel will pop off 7. don't have to push both at once but try to work top off 6. push tabs in and work the top of the round head off 5. Inspect the round head at the bottom and look for two opposing side tabs that you will push in (it's not easy but not too hard) 4.
